Founded in 2013, JWB is a regional non-profit that works to improve access to justice for migrant workers, even after they return home. JWB’s work empowers migrant women to learn more about their rights and obligations, and to obtain legal assistance for harms done unto them.
In the past decade, JWB has successfully litigated all of the most common harms that migrant workers in its target countries face. The lessons learned have fuelled trainings that have turned local caseworkers into effective advocates for transnational claims. We also expanded our regional networks with over 180 frontline and casework partners to share best practices and resources on bringing justice for migrant workers across borders.
Invest in a better world, where access to justice is possible for all, no matter where they are. We welcome donors, partners from the law firm world, corporations and individuals to join us in our mission. You can contribute to sustainable change for some of the most vulnerable workers in the region.
