About Justice Without Borders
Founded in 2013, Justice Without Borders (JWB) is a regional non-profit advancing transnational access to legal assistance for migrant workers through legal assistance, education, and community building. Join us in our mission to bring justice home for migrant workers.

Position Overview

We are seeking passionate and creative fundraising volunteers with PR and event experience to join our team. As a fundraising volunteer, you will play a key role in organising and promoting our annual fundraiser. You will work closely with JWB’s dynamic team to ensure the event’s success, from logistics and coordination to media outreach and donor engagement.  For a truly meaningful engagement, applicants should be able to volunteer with us for at least 3 months.

Engagement Opportunities

Event Management

  • Assist in planning and coordinating event logistics (venue, catering, program flow)
  • Help manage guest lists, RSVPs, and attendee communications
  • Support on-event execution (setup, registration, guest assistance)
  • Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and partners

PR & Communications:

  • Develop and implement a PR & social media strategy to promote the event
  • Draft press releases, media pitches, and fundraising campaign content
  • Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) to boost engagement
  • Assist in donor outreach and sponsorship coordination

You are a good fit if you have…

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Experience in event planning, PR, communications, or marketing 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English required; Cantonese a plus)
  • Proficiency in Canva or other designing software
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment
  • Passion for social issues and commitment to supporting migrant workers
