Overview
We are seeking a Programme Coordinator with strong project and people management skills to lead key initiatives in Indonesia. This is a senior programme role that blends strategic oversight with hands-on coordination, working across legal, operational, and capacity-building areas.
The Programme Coordinator will serve as the project lead for a multi-stakeholder regional initiative, coordinate internal and external contributors, and support the organisational operations in Indonesia

Key Responsibilities
Programme & Project Management
- Lead a regional initiative, coordinating research and collaboration across teams, analyzing key information, and supporting decision-making on strategic directions.
- Supervise the Indonesian programmatic team to ensure smooth operations and follow-up on ongoing projects.
- Support the development of new programmes, tools, and learning resources based on scoping findings and broader stakeholder needs.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Contribute to strengthening our work with community partners—such as unions and frontliners—through training, relationship-building, and information sharing.
- Support stakeholder engagement efforts with grassroots groups, government bodies, academic institutions, funders, and the private sector.
Operational & Administrative Support
- Help manage core programme operations, including grant and financial reporting, data tracking, and internal coordination.
- Assist the Head of Office in maintaining organisational operations by ensuring the necessary systems for compliance, reporting, and administration are in place.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of programme or project management in the nonprofit, legal, education, or development sectors.
- Education: Background in Law
- Languages: Native/near-native in Bahasa Indonesia; fluent in English, including strong writing and communication skills.
- Leadership: Experience supervising staff or volunteers, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing external partnerships (e.g., law firms, volunteers, frontline organizations).
- Project Skills: Strong planning and organisational skills, with an ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Eligibility: Must be based in and legally allowed to work in Indonesia. We cannot sponsor work visas.

Terms of Work

- Working Hours: Full-time, based on an 8-hour day with flexibility.
- Remuneration: IDR 9–12 million/month depending on experience and qualifications.
