Celine is the Executive Director of Justice Without Borders. Since July 2023, she has served as the Co-Head of Office at JWB in Hong Kong and leads the Hong Kong team in developing its case work, managing case process, and devising strategic legal research. She also provides support in other work of JWB including frontline capacity building. Celine first connected with JWB in 2018 and worked with JWB on a pro bono basis in 2020. Prior to joining JWB, Celine has worked in the area of commercial, immigration, employment, and family law. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and was qualified as a Solicitor of the Hong Kong SAR in January 2019.

Aziah’s support for under-represented & vulnerable communities spans across non-profit advisory, legal and humanitarian work in Australia, South Asia, Southeast Asia and EMEA. As a dual-qualified Advocate & Solicitor (England & Wales, and Singapore), she has represented clients in pro bono civil & criminal cases to enable equal access to justice, designed risk approaches for programs to empower women & children to end the poverty cycle, and collaborated with government, local council and non-profit stakeholders for refugee integration. She is also a certified Mediator (Cultural Fluency & Alternative Dispute Resolution). She currently serves as the Regional Head for Public Sector Risk at a management consultancy firm, and is fluent in Malay, conversational Arabic and Chinese.

Jonathan Crompton is a Board Member of Justice Without Borders (JWB). He has supported JWB's work since 2014, including presenting on civil and employment claims in Hong Kong to migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong and to front line organisations in the Philippines, and helping a domestic worker physically and verbally abused by her former employer. Jonathan is a Partner at the law firm RPC in Hong Kong, with a particular focus on complex cross-border disputes and investigations in the finance and technology industries. He leads RPC's Asia 'ReSecure' cyber incident response service as well as its Asian pro bono initiative. Jonathan obtained his LLB (Hons) in Law with European Legal Studies from King's College London and Uppsala University, is admitted to practise in England and Wales and Hong Kong, and speaks English, French and conversational Swedish. He is also a member of the Sustainability Committee of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce and the Vis East Moot Advisory Council, and is a Judicial Officer of the Hong Kong Rugby Union.

Philip is a seasoned finance professional with expertise in strategy, performance management, M&A, investment management, actuarial valuation, financial control and IFRS. His knowledge and experience mainly span across life and non-life direct insurance and reinsurance companies. Philip is a chartered accountant in England and Wales and in Singapore. He obtained his Masters in Public Administration from the London School of Economics, Master in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (NUS), and Bachelor of Social Sciences from the National University of Singapore. He is an active volunteer for many causes and enjoys teaching as an adjunct faculty for several years

Suzanne Lim joined the Board of Justice Without Borders in 2024 and brings with her two decades of experience in fundraising, in particular in the higher education sector in Singapore. A member of the founding team of the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore (2012 - 2022), she established the advancement function in the School, growing it from a one-person operation to a team of nine responsible for fundraising, donor and alumni relations. A lawyer by training, she is also experienced in communications, having previously been a print media journalist and marketing communications manager for Singapore's National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre prior to embarking on her fundraising career with National University of Singapore's Development Office. Mindful of how small nonprofits often face challenges on the fundraising front, Suzanne is now devoting more of her time to sharing her knowledge pro bono with those organisations whose missions resonate with her.

Ijechi is the Head of the Singapore Office at JWB and leads the team developing case work, managing case processes, coordinating strategic legal research and supporting capacity-building. Ijechi first joined JWB as a Legal Fellow in 2016, where she developed an interest in migrant issues and a passion for public interest work. Subsequently, she served as a Fellow at the United Nations Office of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom. Prior to joining JWB full-time, Ijechi worked in private practice, focusing on general corporate matters as well as civil and commercial litigation. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the National University of Singapore, and is admitted to practise law in Singapore and New York.

Syafiqah is our Programme Officer for JWB in Singapore. She graduated from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, specializing in Crime & Law, and Health & Society. Syafiqah has always had a keen interest in working towards helping marginalised groups and the underprivileged. Prior to joining JWB, she volunteered and worked alongside other organizations to assist various groups, namely, ex-offenders and the elderly. Syafiqah always had a strong interest in working with immigrants and refugees, and hopes to fulfil this passion starting by contributing to JWB and helping migrant workers closer to home and in the community.

Eva Maria Putri Salsabila, "Salsa," is JWB Indonesia's Head of Office. Graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Indonesia, Salsa has demonstrated a profound interest in addressing the challenges faced by migrant workers. With a seamless transition from her previous role as a Legal Officer, Salsa now oversees casework management, outreach initiatives, and plays a pivotal role in the development of capacity building programmes. Her passion for supporting communities of practice in cross-border access to justice for migrant workers is evident through her meticulous planning and execution of various training interventions. From short-term training to extensive year-long mentorship programs for frontline partners, Salsa and the Indonesia team equips them with essential casework skills and share their knowledge with others. Salsa hopes to keep contributing in driving sustainable growth and positive change in the migrant worker communities.

It has always been Vivi’s passion to join an NGO that focuses on helping migrant workers in the legal field. Before joining JWB, Vivi’s passion led her to successfully obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a Master’s degree in Social Work. She looks forward to assisting Indonesian migrant workers in her new role and to contribute to Justice Without Border's growth across its jurisdictions.

Brigita Gendis Kandisari is the Programme Office for JWB in Indonesia. She develops and conducts various programmes focusing on providing cross-border legal access to migrant workers. She first joined JWB as a Graduate Legal Fellow in 2021. Graduated from Universitas Gadjah Mada’s Faculty of Law, she has knowledge in public international law, including international criminal law, refugee law, and human rights law. Brigita has passion for various legal subjects, including post-colonial reparations, gender studies, as well as immigration and refugee law.

Natasya is our Legal Officer at JWB Indonesia. She graduated from Atma Jaya Catholic University Indonesia with a Bachelor’s degree in Law. Natasya focuses mainly on international law, where she has gained various experiences with human displacement issues, including refugee rights protection, and now migrant domestic workers rights protection. Working for the public interest has always been her passion. Some of Natasya’s other favorite subjects are international humanitarian law and languages.

Amiya is our Hong Kong Programme Officer responsible for developing and delivering JWB’s training and education programmes. She comes into this role from a background in contemporary art programming and arts education across Dubai and Hong Kong. She believes in education as a tool for empowering individuals and communities. Amiya holds a degree in Human, Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge, with a specialism in Anthropology.

Jaime is our Casework Officer and previously Graduate Legal Fellow in Hong Kong. She graduated from Sarah Lawrence College and for her master's, studied human rights and international law at the Global Campus of Human Rights at the University of Padova and the University of Tartu, Estonia. Her research concerns the legal history of domestic labour, race, and capitalism in Hong Kong. Before joining JWB, she worked in journalism and contemporary art between New York, Beijing, and Hong Kong.

Alice is our Communications Associate of JWB based in Hong Kong. She is responsible for designing JWB's communications strategies across all countries and relationships and supporting the team's implementation of those strategies with a team of volunteers. She first joined JWB as a PR fellow in 2022 and graduated from University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor degree in Arts. Alice is interested in the history of migrant domestic workers and gender studies.
