HONG KONG-BASED LAWYERS
Calling Hong Kong-based lawyers: We are looking for passionate and dedicated volunteers to join our Hong Kong team in making cross-border access to justice a reality for migrant workers who have returned home. We prioritise volunteers who can spend at least 10 hours per week in our office for a minimum period of six months.
The volunteer will support our Hong Kong office in the following areas of work:
- Case work for migrant workers back home in Indonesia or the Philippines;
- Assist with developing and organising trainings for frontline partners and CPD seminars for pro bono lawyers;
- Managing JWB’s strategic legal research on unexplored legal issues in civil litigation for migrant workers;
- Fundraising and events planning.
We would love to hear from individuals with the following background, skills and experience:
- Legal background;
- Experience in project management;
- Fluency in English with excellent writing and communication skills;
- Ability to work independently with exceptional team attitude.
The volunteer should be based in Hong Kong and have the right to work in the city. Fluency in Cantonese, Bahasa Indonesia or Tagalog is desirable but not essential.

We are searching for volunteers who are practicing lawyers in Singapore and fluent in Bahasa Indonesia or Tagalog! Volunteer with us on an ad hoc basis on our outreach and training activities.
SINGAPORE-BASED VOLUNTEERS FROM THE PHILIPPINES
Do you have experience in migrant workers’ issues in the Philippines? We need you! Sign up as an ad-hoc volunteer and get involved in our trainings and outreach to the Filipino migrant worker community in Singapore.
PUBLIC RELATIONS CONSULTANTS
We’re looking for volunteer consultants with public relations experience to consult on matters ranging from branding, messaging, strategy and media engagement to digital marketing, graphic design, photography, video editing and events.
